Process Solutions Signs Strategic Partnership Contract with Digi Drives. October 10, 2005 -PSI (Process Solutions, Inc.) of Wallingford, CT has entered into an agreement with Digi Drives (P) Ltd. to provide technology associated with its IMPACT™ Automatic Gauge Control (AGC) systems for rolling mills in India. PSI will supply engineering and software to Digi Drives, who will provide hardware and commissioning and start up services. PSI is a technology integrator and manufacturer of rolling mill AGC systems, coordinated DC and AC drive control systems, Human/Machine Interface (HMI) software and Statistical Process Control (SPC) and reporting software. Its IMPACT ("Improving Mill Performance through Accurate Control of Tolerances") AGC system is currently controlling over 35 rolling mills, mostly in the US. Digi Drives, located in Faridabad near New Delhi, is a leading drive control manufacturer (an ABB Systems Integrator) serving customers in India and surrounding countries, and certain areas of Africa. This new partnership will enhance Digi Drives' capabilities by allowing them to offer complete mill packages (both new and upgrades) for their customers.
