The Company Process Solutions, Inc. (PSI) is an original equipment manufacturer servicing primarily the metals and manufacturing industries within the United States of America. PSI was founded in January 1995 under the name Sharpe Measurement Technology, Inc. (SMT), a sub-S corporation incorporated in the state of Connecticut. Its primary focus was on control systems and contact thickness gauges for strip and sheet. Originally organized by four equal business partners, all of the company stock was purchased back in November 1999 and is currently held by the president of the company, John Albert Bartlett. The name of the corporation was changed in January 2000 to Process Solutions, Inc. after the sale of the thickness gauge manufacturing division. The goal of the company is to provide the highest quality, technically advanced process automation systems while at the same time using standard, off the shelf available hardware, wherever possible. Engineers and service technicians staff PSI with almost 100 years combined experience in the metals and manufacturing industry. Our company is based on the engineering and application knowledge required to convert standard components into the fastest, highest technology and most reliable control systems available in the market place today.
